The year of 2008 has had some spectacular releases, and picking the one game that stood out among the heavy hitters has been a difficult choice. There were a number of titles that were my favorites this year including Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Resistance 2, Fallout 3, Mario Kart Wii, Left 4 Dead, Space Invaders Extreme, and more.The storyline is excellent, quests are creative, and beginning at level 55 inspires a non-alt believer into cheating on a main character. World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King would undoubtedly be my quintessential gaming experience of 2008.
