The full version of Warhammer Online. DateTime:5/23/2012 10:37:34 AM
Playing through the public quest was illuminating not because of the nature of the content, but because of what this content does to the players who participate in it. Public quests have thus become a much faster (and more lucrative) way for players to find a group than just spamming a chat channel. Unfortunately, that was also the end of our Dark Elf play session. We had reached level 5, killed a whole bunch of High Elves, despoiled a sacred cache of books, slaughtered a sacred animal, murdered a group of non-violent protestors and butchered a powerful guardian of High Elf light and knowledge. All in all, it was a pretty good day, but one that leaves us eager to get our hands on the full version of Warhammer Online. Buy cheap wow gold here !
The second thing we noted was the way players in a public quest zone started to coordinate in order to kill the powerful dragon. Tanks started to tank. DPS classes started to deal damage and healers and buffers healed and buffed. When we backed the dragon through the wall of one of the buildings (a geometry bug that had not yet been corrected), the groups in the region worked to pull it out where it could be damaged. In short, it started to feel like a crude version of a raid. At level 5, beginning players were already getting a taste of the kind of large-scale PvE combat that's usually the province of the end game.
