WoW Developers Hope Success for The Old Republic DateTime:5/23/2012 10:37:34 AM
Game developers are more inclined to talk smack about the competition, the people in charge at Blizzard take a more objective view and actually hope for the success of the competition, offering positive words for BioWare and their upcoming Star Wars: The Old Republic.
While The Old Republic and World of Warcraft won’t be directly competing for wow gold, they will undoubtedly be compared to one another in terms of success, and will become the hot topic of trolls everywhere on the web. The fact that they appeal to different gaming demographics probably accounts for some of the friendliness Blizzard is showing toward BioWare however, one could be sure the 12 million subscribers, platinum-plated toilets, and the near-decade of success WoW has had makes Blizzard feel extremely secure.
Valor points capping at 1,000 cheap wow gold a week still seems excessively low when the only item that could possibly be purchased in a week is the relic slot item or throwing weapon. Frankly, perhaps the recourse here isn't to raise that cap but to drop some prices. BoE items I can understand costing 1,650, but capes, rings and necks should be accessible with a week's efforts.
