Creating a good WoW Mage Leveling Spec is dependent on having a build that can do a lot of damage and attack often. A good build has very little down time between battles. Having too much down time likely means the player is taking damge or the spells are too weak to take out mobs quickly. Before deciding on your Wow Mage leveling spec, you must first be knowledgeable about the spells available to a mage in World of Warcraft. The fire tee of spells is one of the primary spell trees. One of the primary spell trees is the fire spell tree. These fire based attacks are great for doing damage. The spells in the frost tree are the next tree of spells for a mage. Frost tree spells lack the damage of fire tree spells, but are helpful in slowing down enemies movement. The final tree of spells for mages is the arcane tree. While the damage for arcane spells is not the main focus, they are helpful for making other spells more powerful.
The fire tree of spells is what most of the good WoW Mage Leveling specs focus on. A slowed enemy can deal more damage than a dead one.Another important part of any WoW Mage Leveling spec is power that make attack spells even more potent Talents such as Impact and Ignite might not seem great on their own, but once combined with a powerful area of effect spell like Blast Wave or Flamestrike, they can stun or cause additional damage to multiple targets. These spells have the highest damage per second compared to the other mage spell trees (frost and arcane). With higher damage per second, enemies typically die faster. The faster enemies die, the less chance there is the player takes damage. Taking less damage is always a good thing and leads to less down time between battles. Being a death dealing machine helps improve survival. While choosing the frost spells provides some enemy debuffs such as slowing or stopping movement, a mage fire talent build can quickly incinerate any opposition.
